Description

Tobias Webb is the co-founder of the Sustainable Wine Roundtable, along with many others. The Sustainable Wine Roundtable is a global collaboration of wine producers, retailers, distributors, NGOs, academia and others, who are working together to create the global sustainability reference standard for wine. SWR also fosters collaboration through making connections, practical research, and collaborative conversations. Founding members include Waitrose, Cloudy Bay, Famille Perrin, BLB Vignobles, Ahold Delhaize, Wholefoods Market, Systembolaget, Amorim, WWF, and many others. www.swroundtable.org The SWR funds www.sustainablewine.co.uk as an online magazine to promote sustainability in wine, and the work of the roundtable. Tobias is also founder and CEO of Innovation Forum, a sustainability platform for research, events, analysis and advisory services, which works with the whole value chain, from smallholder farmers, to large food and agriculture companies, to help tackle sustainability issues, engage stakeholders, understand trends and collaborate with key partners. IF works in non-wine areas such as animal protein, cotton, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, and others. Since 2008 Tobias has lectured annually and taught eight semesters on corporate sustainability strategy, at Kings College London, Birkbeck, University of London, at both post-graduate and undergraduate levels. Most recently he lectured at the Stockholm School of Economics on regenerative agriculture. Since 2001 he’s worked with dozens of large companies on their sustainability journey, as advisor, speaker, researcher, and critical friend. He holds an MSc in Corporate Governance and Ethics from Birkbeck, University of London and since 1984, a ten meter swimming badge from his local pool.
