Human activities have shaped our landscapes, all too often leaving behind bruised territories.
Blooming Ground is interested in rehabilitating these areas through plant-based soil decontamination techniques, also known as phytoremediation.
To develop these techniques, it is necessary to find uses for these plants.
Blooming Ground's research involves finding and developing uses for the local territories' know-how.
All the pieces presented here prove the potential of these plants in the field of fire art (here enamels on stoneware, porcelain and glass).
Depending on the elements extracted from the soil, a diversity of colors is obtained.
In this way, we find color palettes linked to the historical and climatic context of the territory, suggesting other virtuous production methods with high added value.
