ABOUT THE WORLD LIVING SOILS FORUM

Soils are a complex and still too often overlooked ecosystem. In total interdependence with water, biodiversity, and climate, our agriculture, as well as our economy and health, depend on their condition.

Yet, more than 40% of soils on the planet are currently degraded. It is therefore urgent to act to protect and regenerate them.

Naturally connected to soils through its various terroirs, Moët Hennessy has been committed for many years to the preservation of living soils and launched in 2022, as part of a collective initiative, the World Living Soils Forum, a gathering dedicated to the preservation, health, and regeneration of soils.

The second edition, co-organized with ChangeNOW on the 8th & 9th of October 2024 brought together more than 500 participants in Arles and 100 in the two satellite events in China and the United States.

WORLD LIVING SOILS FORUM: A NEW IMPACTFUL EDITION

The third edition of the World Living Soils Forum, co-organized with ChangeNOW, took place on June 3 and 4, 2026, at LUMA Arles. Under the high patronage of the French Presidency, UNESCO, UNCCD, and OIV, the event generated unprecedented mobilization with over 600 participants on-site and a hundred people gathered at three satellite events organized in China, the United States, and Brazil.

With over 200 speakers, fifteen selected startups, and more than 80 sessions, the Forum reached a new milestone by bringing together international experts with a common goal: to accelerate and widely deploy soil regeneration. Conferences, workshops, keynotes, calls for investment, and solution deployment—this edition placed action at the heart of its program.

Joining forces and the power of collective action was a central theme of these two days of content and meetings, custom-designed by the members of the Advisory Board, who were joined this year by committed companies: Pernod Ricard, Nestlé and Nespresso, PwC France and Maghreb, as well as Groupe BPCE (Natixis CIB and Mirova).

In just a few years, the World Living Soils Forum has become the essential rendez- vous for soil regeneration.
