Presentation

Perennial grains are new hardware for agriculture that can transform how we farm by changing what we grow. These long-lived, deeply rooted grains, including cereals, legumes, and oilseeds, will allow farmers to plant once and harvest a crop for many years without replanting while building healthy soil, absorbing water, retaining nutrients, and removing carbon dioxide from the air. Consumers can already try perennial grains like Kernza® in the US and perennial rice in China - and more are coming.
