We find ourselves in a world of competing interests for resource use: Is the extraction of minerals a priority even at the expense of living soils? As growth curves for the implementation of AI and technology are exponential, we'll discuss the geopolitical and physical consequences of going forward on mineral extraction without assessing its risks, and discuss ways to take the preservation of living soils into account.
