Marcelo Cocco Urtado is an agronomist, environmental consultant, and regenerative coffee producer from Brazil. He is President of the Consórcio Cerrado das Águas (Cerrado Waters Consortium), a multi-stakeholder initiative focused on water resilience and regenerative landscapes in the Cerrado Mineiro coffee region. Marcelo is also co-owner of Fazenda Três Meninas, an award-winning specialty coffee farm internationally recognized for sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and measurable environmental outcomes. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA) and has dedicated his career to integrating agricultural productivity, biodiversity conservation, water security, and climate resilience through science-based farming systems.
