Géraldine Bernard is Global Sustainability Lead for Raw Materials at HEINEKEN Company, where she has been driving sustainability transformation across agricultural supply chains for the past eight years. Her work focuses on advancing strategies and programmes in carbon reduction, water stewardship, biodiversity, and the social dimension of farming.
She has played a key role in shaping innovative initiatives such as HEINEKEN’s Low Carbon Farming pilot, launched in 2021, and the company’s Regenerative agriculture programme introduced in 2024. Both initiatives are designed to support farmers in transitioning toward scalable and economically viable sustainable practices.
Géraldine brings a strong cross-functional perspective, having built her career at the intersection of procurement and sustainability within leading organizations including Philips, HEINEKEN, Veolia, Orano, Atlantic group, and the NGO IECD, where she led an education project in Lebanon.
Originally from France, she is passionate about fostering collective, creative, and forward-thinking approaches to sustainability, particularly in agriculture. She is committed to building partnerships that enable farmers and ecosystems to thrive.
Outside of her professional role, Géraldine enjoys exploring new cultures, spending time in nature, and sharing these experiences with her husband and two sons.
