Description

With over three decades of experience, I have developed a robust career in industrial procurement, driven by a profound interest in materials and a conviction that strategic purchasing is a key driver for corporate transformation sector. My career commenced in 1992 within the automotive industry at Valeo, where I acquired foundational expertise in rigorous negotiation, supplier panel management, and industrial purchasing methodologies. This experience proved instrumental upon joining Louis Vuitton in 1996, within the Leather Purchasing Department. My tenure at LVMH subsequently included international assignments, notably structuring Fendi’s purchasing operations in Italy Following this, my responsibilities expanded at Givenchy, encompassing both procurement and the development of materials and finished products for leather goods. Then I moved to the south of France in Nice and subsequent roles at Façonnable and Reminiscence further diversified my expertise across various product categories, including ready-to-wear, jewelry, and perfumes. In 2017, I rejoined Louis Vuitton, returning to the Leather Purchasing team. The evolving landscape of the luxury industry, marked by heightened environmental imperatives, led to my appointment in 2023 to a pivotal role focused on the development, security, and traceability of raw material supply chains for all leather goods. This function reflects a strategic emphasis on understanding the complete lifecycle of materials, from their primary origin to their integration into luxury products. My current mission centers on redefining raw material sourcing by embedding sustainability as a core operational principle. This involves addressing complex challenges such as biodiversity protection, deforestation, resource scarcity, and ethical labor practices. My work has been instrumental in expanding procurement criteria beyond traditional metrics—price, quantity, quality, and delivery—to integrate environmental and social dimensions with equal criticality. The challenge is to trace the supply chain until the origin of the raw material , meeting each stakeholder of the various production steps to understand the stakes and objectives of each party, and then establish a common and realistic transitional roadmap where everyone benefits from this transformation. My influence extends across various material categories like leather but also metal, cotton and all raw materials used in our leather goods by tracing supply chains to their origins, ensuring material certification, launching pioneering initiatives, and promoting regenerative practices In my capacity, I serve as a critical liaison across departments, including Environment, Purchasing, Industrial Direction, Design, and Marketing My efforts are dedicated to fostering collaboration across the luxury industry to ensure that environmental innovation drives a responsible and enduring future.
