Description

As CEO of Regenerative California, Kristin helps build practical models for a regenerative economy — one where thriving ecosystems, strong communities, and lasting prosperity grow together. RC brings together leaders across business, government, philanthropy, and community to align capital, policy, and innovation around real place-based solutions in the future of food, attainable housing and thriving livelihoods. Over the past 20+ years, Kristin has worked across the nonprofit, private, and public sectors at the intersection of ecology, economic development, tourism, food systems, and community innovation. Her career has taken her from land conservation and green building to founding an international sustainable tourism consultancy supporting projects from Patagonia to the Pacific Rim. Previously, Kristin served as Vice President of Food and Nature-Based Solutions at SecondMuse, where she led global initiatives with partners including The Rockefeller Foundation and Oxfam focused on reimagining food systems, entrepreneurship, and community-led innovation. An ecologist by training, Kristin is also a fellow with the Just Economy Institute and The Oxford Accelerator - IMAGINE. She is believer that California can become a globally relevant model for what a regenerative economy looks like in practice.
