Artist
Côme Di Meglio (1988) is an artist who graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris in 2014. He lives and works in Marseille, where he completed a two-year residency at the Ateliers de la Ville de Marseille. His work has been showcased in major exhibitions in France and abroad, such as Art Paris Art Fair, Milan Design Week 2022 (Alcova exhibition), and the ChangeNOW Summit in 2024 at the Grand Palais Ephémère. In 2021, he received the Planète Solidaire Prize awarded by Art of Change 21 and Ruinart for the ecological dimension of his artistic approach.
He creates installations and architectures aimed at fostering a heightened sensitivity to the environment and an enhanced state of presence. His spaces find meaning by hosting collective experiences to explore our ways of relating to one another. Since 2018, he has been organizing the enchanted hypnosis dinners, TransitionFOOD.
Incorporating food into his practice led him to question the life cycle of the materials he uses. MycoTemple is an extension of his research: utilizing a living organism to create an immersive architecture whose entire life cycle is part of the artwork, from its growth to its decay.
