Emma Östansjö works with certifications, sustainability data and stakeholder collaboration at Systembolaget, the Swedish alcohol retail monopoly. She currently leads the work on the Certification Benchmark, a joint initiative by the Nordic alcohol monopolies and SAQ in Canada, focusing on understanding and comparing how certification schemes contribute to environmental, social and governance performance, including soil health, biodiversity and water. From a retailer perspective, Emma works with how concepts such as regenerative agriculture can be translated into credible, comparable and scalable approaches across global supply chains.
