Description

Sharon has over 20 years of experience in international conservation, an MSc in Applied Ecology and Conservation, and a PhD in the field of Conservation and Development. Sharon works closely with businesses, financial institutions, and governments to drive action that addresses the nature crisis and supports sustainable development. This includes supporting development and reform of policies, standards and accountability mechanisms, as well as developing tools, guidance and technical knowledge to build capacity and enable action. Sharon was a Coordinating Lead Author for the IPBES Business and Biodiversity assessment, focusing on approaches for measuring corporate impacts and dependencies on biodiversity.
