Description

I use my work to show how modern, diverse and forward-thinking agriculture is today. My focus is on animal welfare, sustainability and open communication — always practical, understandable and driven by passion. I studied Agricultural Sciences in Bonn before transferring to the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences in Soest, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in 2020 and my master’s degree in 2022, supported by a scholarship from Landwirtschaftsverlag. Practical experience has always been central to my path: after graduating, I managed a 120-hectare arable farm for two years. Today, I work in project planning on another arable farm and have fulfilled my dream of running my own farm together with my boyfriend. Since I do not come from a traditional farming family, I learned early on how much explanation agriculture often needs — and how large the gap is between farming and public perception. During my studies, I began using social media to explain agricultural topics in a clear and accessible way. What started as content for friends and acquaintances quickly reached millions of viewers. My account grew significantly during my time working in the German Bundestag, where I interviewed politicians on agricultural issues. It has since become one of the largest agricultural social media accounts in the German-speaking world. Today, my work combines practical farming, social media, public speaking, moderation and consulting. Since 2026, I have also been pursuing a doctorate in science communication with a focus on agricultural topics. My goal is to make complex agricultural issues understandable and to improve communication between agriculture and society — creating more dialogue, transparency and appreciation for farming.
