Description

Philippe is a social entrepreneur who is working since 2019 on scaling regenerative agriculture in Europe with his company Climate Farmers. Climate Farmers is currently supporting around 700 farmers in 16 different European countries with the transition towards regenerative agriculture. They are doing this by providing a supportive community, context specific transition knowledge and transition finance in the farm of carbon + credits. Since 2009 he is world record holder in simultaneous fire breathing, since 2013 part of Ashoka's Changemaker community, since June 2022 he is part of the BMW Foundation's Responsible Leader network and since September 2025 an Obama Leader. He is also part of the European Commissions Expert Commitee on Farmland Management. When he is not attending events or visiting farmers, he is living with his family in the Serra da Estrella mountain range in Portugal, where he is rebuilding an abandoned village together with a group of friends.
