Sandrine Gallon is a pioneering farmer in conservation agriculture, practicing direct seeding since 2005. Her farm covers 150 hectares and is located just four meters above sea level. Committed to sustainable farming, she incorporates cover crops between her main crops to preserve soil health. Since 2021, she has been part of the Soil Capital program, where she manages to store 2 tons of carbon per hectare, amounting to approximately 300 tons stored in the soil each year. Her innovative approach makes her an leading example in the agroecological transition.
