After seven years at EHL Hospitality Business School in Switzerland — first as a student, then as a professional, Melly returned home to Pu'er, Yunnan, to join the family enterprise her father founded 38 years ago. Landsun stewards 'Song Pin', a heritage tea brand dating back to the Qing dynasty, and has been practicing organic agriculture since 1998. The company has played an active role in rural poverty alleviation since 1997, resettling and employing over 30,000 farmers from remote mountain regions. Today, with more than 1,600 hectares of tea gardens certified organic by China, the EU, and the US, Landsun continues to bridge heritage craftsmanship with modern sustainability principles. With an international perspective and deep local roots, Melly is committed to revitalizing the brand while staying true to its founding ethos: stewardship of the land, respect for the people who work it, and a genuine belief that the finest tea is grown in harmony with nature. Together with a growing community of like-minded practitioners, she is shaping a future where regenerative agriculture, cultural heritage, and shared prosperity meet in the same cup.
