Description

A physician-scientist turned farmer, Tom Croghan is the co-owner and executive winemaker at The Vineyards at Dodon in Davidsonville, MD. He is also the founding Chair of the Dodon Center for Ecological Farming, part of Dodon’s Do Your Part initiative, and the U.S. Regional Ambassador of The Porto Protocol Foundation. Widely recognized for its ecological approach to wine growing, Dodon seeks to restore functioning ecosystems, enhance biodiversity, sequester carbon dioxide, and reduce its chemical and physical footprint.
