I am Victor Parmentier, 28 years old. After graduating as an agronomic engineer, I joined Nestlé France as an intern in 2020.
In 2023, I returned to my family farm while continuing my professional activities at Nestlé. I was working part-time for Nestlé and part-time managing the farm alongside my father.
After becoming the sole owner of the farm in 2025, I accelerated the deployment of regenerative agriculture practices, including increasing cover crop biomass and nitrogen fixation, reducing soil tillage, and expanding direct seeding, and I kept my missions at Nestlé
The farm covers 400 hectares. We grow wheat, barley, rapeseed, sugar beet, onions, green beans, green peas, and maize.
Part or all of the maize and barley is dedicated to biogas production through an anaerobic digester, in which we have invested together with six other farmers. Vegetable crops are irrigated.
I am deeply engaged in identifying the most resilient agronomic systems in order to reduce exposure to climate risks and input cost volatility.
At Nestlé, I am dedicated to deploying regenerative agriculture programs in France alongside our partners, with the aim of meeting the Group’s targets.
These two activities are complementary, as they continuously inform one another through shared experience, knowledge, and skills development.
