Description

John Barker is the Director General of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV), which is the intergovernmental scientific and techncial reference organisation for the vine and wine sector. He has specialised in international legal and regulatory matters concerning the vine and wine sector for 28 years, advising governments, private enterprises, industry associations and donor organisations on key aspects of the development of the sector. He holds a PhD in Law and Geography from the University of Auckland.
