After working in the private sector for more than ten years in France and abroad in marketing and sales management positions, mainly in the wine industry, Audrey Bourolleau became Managing Director of Vin et Société in 2012. Vin et Société is an association that represents the entire French wine industry in dealings with the public authorities.
In 2016, she became Emmanuel Macron's advisor on agricultural issues and joined the French President at the Elysée as advisor on agriculture, forestry and rural development. She chose to leave this position at the end of 2019 to co-found Hectar with Xavier Niel.
Located close to Paris on more than 600 hectares, Hectar brings together in a unique ecosystem a pilot farm in regenerative agriculture, entrepreneurial training programs and a start-up accelerator. Hectar aims to support the social and economic transition of the regenerative agricultural and food sector.
Audrey Bourolleau is 43, she is married and mother of two children.
