Hanzhong Jia is a professor and Dean of the College of Natural Resources and Environment at Northwest A&F University, China. His research focusses on the occurrence, persistence, and fate of new emerging organic pollutants, such as environmentally persistent free radicals, and remediation technologies for contaminated soils. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers. He has received several prestigious honors, including the Yangtze Scholar Program, the Distinguished Young Scholar of Shaanxi Province, and the Excellent Young Scholars Award from the Society of Soil Science of China. He serves as a council member of the “Soil Science Society of China (SSSC)”, associate editor for Environmental Chemistry Letter, and editorial member for B Environ Contam Tox.
