Diane Masure

Association pour la Promotion d'une Agriculture Durable (APAD)

president APAD and farmer

Diane Masure I took over a 100-hectare soil conservation agriculture family farm in southern Champagne 12 years ago, where I cultivate wheat, rapeseed, hemp, pasture and cover crop seeds, as well as lentils and peas for food. I have a Master' degree in Agronomy and used to work as a consultant and teacher in science and agronomy. Today, I am strongly committed to local and national farmers' groups and cooperatives, with a focus on promoting agriculture, particularly soil conservation practices. As the President of APAD (Association for the Promotion of Sustainable Agriculture), I established their carbon project, which generates financing for the transition to sustainable agriculture through corporate involvement in voluntary carbon offset initiatives. I also serve as a farmers' representative on the boards of 4p1000, the Global Conservation Agriculture Network (GCAN), and the Global Soil Partnership (GSP) at the FAO.
